Horst Meyer-Selb (1933-2004)

From 1950-55 Horst Meyer-Selb attended the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar studying piano with Heinz Lamann and composition with Johann Cilensek. His own song cycles and other chamber works were performed on numerous occasions. As a teacher for many years of Répétiteur Studies at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin he acquired an intimate knowledge of all aspects of woodwind and brass instruments.
