ANECDOTAL ANTIDOTES was written for Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, a group of faculty players from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut. Its members include Anton Miller, violin; Rita Porfiris, viola; Phil Snedecor, trumpet; and Scott Mendoker, tuba.
A three movement work completed on March 18, 2021, was created as a gift to Scott Mendoker and his colleagues out of pure admiration for their superb musicianship. The instrumentation was also a delightful challenge. A video of a performance by Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot can be found on YouTube.
