This piece was written for a concert that brought together two choirs, the Divertimento vocale and the Winterthurer Vokalensemble, around Orlando di Lasso's Vespers. I thought of setting several verses to music, but the first three words were enough to express the plaintive, insistent, desperate prayer, the arrival of the Creator, then the dance of the spirit. I took the opportunity to use several processes: inversions, augmentation, etc., to illustrate this profusion of the creative spirit.
The premiere took place in Zürich, Rheinau, Fribourg and Bern in June 2006.
